Thanks for being a guest on the podcast!

We are super excited to be recording with you.

We record video for our episodes, so here are some helpful tips and information to help you prepare for our remote recording session together...

Here are a few technical things to be aware of…

We use a platform called Riverside to record audio and video of our interviews. We'll send you an email a few days before recording that has a link to the recording session. If you’re using a computer, you can use an internet browser like Chrome or Firefox (Safari doesn't work, sorry) to enter the session… it will look and feel a lot like a Zoom call.

If you’re using a mobile device like an iPad or iPhone, you may need to download the Riverside Mobile App to access the session.

You do NOT need to sign up for Riverside or create an account, the link will take you directly to our recording session.

Once on Riverside, be sure to select the correct camera and microphone you’d like to use and select whether or not you're using headphones. Selecting the correct headphones option is important to avoid any echo or sound delay.

If you’re using a mobile device, please turn it to landscape (horizontal) orientation if possible.

When the recording session is done, please leave the app or internet browser open to allow the recording to upload. During the conversation, it will record high quality audio/video on your device an upload it once we’re done. It does this to hopefully avoid any streaming issues or quality loss in the recording.

Pro Tips...

A quiet room with soft surfaces will help the sound quality… a large room with high ceilings will have a lot of echo. If you have a microphone (or even AirPods), those are generally better than using the built-in microphone on your device.

A well lit space is great, just don’t position yourself with a bright window behind you, that will wash out the video.

Please put all your devices (especially the one you are recording on with us) on Do Not Disturb to avoid notification sounds.

We keep it clean so that listeners of all ages can enjoy the podcast.

Lastly, be authentic. We like to laugh, have fun and stay positive. Be yourself and have a FUN! We love to leave the bloopers and mistakes in the show for authenticity; but we do edit the podcast down for time/keeping things on topic.

If you have any questions or need any clarification, feel free to ask! hello@ajanderika.com
